Yoga, Meditation & RejunevationInto Presence – New Year’s Retreat
Yoga, Meditation & Rejunevation
Dec 29, 2026 – Jan 1, 2027
near Rørvig (Nakke hage) in Denmark (1h30 outside Copenhagen)
Step into 2027 feeling fresh, clear, and inspired.
The end of the year is the opportunity to reflect and integrate what has happened in the last year and make space for the new one.
For this new year’s threshold, you’re invited to spend four days & three nights in the peaceful and nature scenery, resourcing yourself with daily yoga, meditation, sauna, nature walks, and time to “just be” – away from the frantic celebrations of the city!
Quietude, rejuvenation, and a warm heartfelt presence will be the key qualities you can expect to experience and cultivate during your retreat.
The retreat takes place over four days and three nights, rhythmed by daily yoga, meditation, personal reflection, outdoor sauna & hot tub, 3 delicious vegetarian meals, and free time for you to rest or walk around the area.
Your guides, Cédric & Cecilie
You will be hosted by Cédric, warm-hearted and experienced yoga and meditation teacher based in Copenhagen and the main facilitator for the entire retreat. Returning for his already fourth new year’s retreat at Kirsebærgården, Cédric will facilitate a space in which you can awaken to your presence, using the intersection of body, mind, and heart as a doorway.
Cecilie Sofie Svensson will join us for one day. Together, we will cultivate an experience of presence through harmony between feminine and masculine, surrender and action, giving and receiving, yin and yang.
Our intention is for you to step into 2027 present with what matters to you, and in touch with your wisdom; able to discern when to initiate and when to yield.
More about Cédric, PhD and E-500 CYT
In his yoga and meditation classes, Cédric’s intention is to help you establish a good and healthy posture, build strength and flexibility in your body, and soothe your nervous system. Known for his heart-infused themed classes, Cédric creates a space for deep embodiment that enables his students to open the door to presence and the heart. His work with clients and students is informed by nearly fifteen years of practice, teaching and studies in yoga techniques, anatomy, free movement, eastern philosophy, meditation/mindfulness, somatic therapy, and bodywork. Cédric has an earlier career as a social science researcher, which can be felt in his natural curiosity and his capacity to bring a larger perspective to every class and session he offers. More about Cecilie Sofie Svensson, E-500 CYT
The fusion of power and softness, and how the two can intertwine in a dynamic and strong practice but also in gentler branches of a yoga practice summarizes what interests me the most in my own life as well as in my teaching. How we balance and apply these qualities to our personal practice on and off the mat is of great learning to me. Fundamentally yoga keep reminding me to stay present in this life. It is the ongoing work of staying true to my values and beliefs and yet soft and open to the continuous and inevitable change that is life. At its best, yoga sharpens my insight, softens my understanding, and invites me to look at myself and my surroundings from a more honest and curious place.
My classes are a mix of listening, feeling, moving, and playing, and as much as I value the philosophical and emotionel aspect of a practice, I also love a good flow. I have been teaching since 2016, I am 47 years old and live in the center of Cph. I’m the mother of two, Luke 18 & Hannah 23. @ceciliesofiesvensson (instagram)
